A community local, Dr. Molly Brinkmann joined the Williamson County Animal Hospital family in December of 2017 as an associate veterinarian.

Dr. Brinkmann was born and raised in Leiper's Fork. She developed a love for animals at a young age while riding and showing horses. As a young adult, Dr. Brinkmann took occasional trips to Honduras where she would later spend an entire summer, lead university mission trips and eventually become fluent in Spanish.

A proud Franklin High School alum,  Dr. Brinkmann chose to continue her education with the University of Tennessee. She obtained her bachelors in Animal Sciences and then received her DVM in 2015 from UT after serving as AVMA chapter president. Amidst the demands of veterinary school, she met and married her now husband,  Ryan.

Dr. Brinkmann found herself in Colorado after vet school, working as an associate surgical veterinarian for a mixed practice. Although she enjoyed getting hands-on experience with equines as well as dogs and cats, Tennessee soon called her back home. Her desire was to be closer to family and begin a family of their own; Dr. Brinkmann and her husband are now expecting their first child in the Spring of 2018. If they're not at home rooting for UT, you can find this growing family enjoying outdoor activities together with their black lab, Cooper.

Excelling in patient care, Dr. Brinkmann has a special interest in internal medicine for dogs and cats alike and brings additional experienced surgical skills to WCAH.  She is excited to be back at home caring for the pets of the community that helped raise her.
