Dr. Jackie Jones
Dr Jackie Jones has been working in the animal care field since she graduated from high school in Maryland back in 1987. She became a licensed veterinary technician in 1992 while living in Tuscon, AZ. In 1994, Dr. Jones moved to middle Tennessee where she continued working as a technician right here at Williamson County Animal Hospital until she was accepted into vet school. She received her D.V.M. in 2004 from the University of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jones previously worked in Smyrna, TN until life came full circle and she found herself back at WCAH as an associate veterinarian.
Her main clinical interests are in internal medicine, preventative medicine, and behavior. Notably, Dr. Jones has a special interest and affinity for our feline friends. In the last few years, Dr Jones has been able to volunteer with Animal Rescue Corp where she has rescued hundreds of dogs and cats from deplorable hoarding conditions, hurricane locations, and puppy mill cases. She hopes to continue helping and volunteering with this amazing group. In the rest of her free time, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with her family, long drives in the country and taking her 2 dogs on hikes.
