Dr. Michael Rader, DVM

Dr. Michael Rader is a native of West Tennessee, but is proud to call Middle Tennessee home. In 2008, Dr. Rader joined the staff of Williamson County Animal Hospital and has loved his position. He enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine, but he has special interests in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. From simple cosmetic growth removals to the more advanced TTA procedure for canine knee ACL tears, Dr. Rader is ready to treat your beloved pet.

Dr. Rader is first and foremost a family man. Along with his wife Connie, he strives to promote a strong Christian faith as well as an honorable work ethic to their two children Blake and Juliet. In his spare time, Dr. Rader enjoys woodworking and playing the guitar.

Dr. Rader received his undergraduate degree from Freed Hardeman University in 1999 with a BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Assoc., Tennessee Veterinary Medical Assoc., and Phi Zeta (National Veterinary Honor Society).
